SCDA One Act Play Festival

About SCDA One Act Play Festival

Founded in 1926, the SCDA supports and promotes amateur drama throughout Scotland. They are proud to have members of all ages (from 8 to over 80!) from all over Scotland and offer a warm welcome to anyone interested in any aspect of amateur theatre.

Each year the SCDA holds a Scotland wide competition to identify the best new play created by an amateur dramatics company. Why not come along and find out what’s happening this year?

SCDA present the start of the journey to become Scotland’s best amateur one act play for 2018. See 4 youth and 6 adult plays, two of which will progress to the West of Scotland final. Glasgow District has three previous Scottish Champions on show. Will we see another champion this year?
See 10 plays over 3 days!

Thursday 8 March – 7pm

Friday 9 March – 7pm

Saturday 10 March- 3pm & 7pm
(one ticket covers both sessions on Saturday)

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for SCDA One Act Play Festival are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
