The Ladies of Steel are a Scottish Women's Institute that runs on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from September to May from 7pm to 8:30pm at the Daisy Park Community Centre on Cassels Street in Motherwell.

Our ladies range in age and we meet in a relaxed environment where everyone is welcome.

We have demonstrations, talks and events throughout the season.

The syllabus for 2018/2019 is as follows:

19th Sept - Lampshade making demonstration
17th Oct - Lanarkshire Historical Society
21st Nov - Pottery demonstration/talk
19th Dec - Christmas meal
16th Jan - Ceilidh
20th Feb - Tasting night
20th March - Making felt flower bouquet
17th April - Yoga/Stretches
15th May - Hairstyle demonstration

Septembers meeting is £2pp and then £4pp thereafter.
