Marie Curie Quiz, Raffle and Auction

About Marie Curie Quiz, Raffle and Auction

(£5 per person, teams of up to 4 people) in aid of the UK’s number 1 terminal illness charity, Marie Curie.

The raffle consists of brilliant prizes from Rangers Football Club, Glenton Holidays and Virgin Trains.

Fundraising Groups play an important role in local communities by taking part in Marie Curie’s fundraising campaigns such as the Great Daffodil Appeal, Blooming Great Tea Party and other yearly collections. Marie Curie fundraising groups act as ambassadors, helping to spread the word about the work of the charity and encouraging and supporting local people, clubs and organisations to fundraise too. Across the UK, Marie Curie Fundraising Groups meet regularly to organise and support fundraising activities in their local communities.

If you would like more information about the quiz night or to buy tickets, please contact Georgia Ramplin, Community Fundraiser on 07730 619 485.

Marie Curie helps people living with a terminal illness and their families make the most of the time they have together by delivering expert hands-on care, emotional support, research and guidance. Last year, Marie Curie cared for and supported over 50,000 people affected by terminal illness across the UK. In South Lanarkshire, 45 nurses support people with a terminal illness and their families.

If you have questions about terminal illness, need support or just want to talk, call the Marie Curie Support Line on 0800 090 2309. It’s for anyone affected by terminal illness, including family and friends.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Marie Curie Quiz, Raffle and Auction are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
