Local primary and secondary schools across South Lanarkshire have collaborated with local artist Allison Smith to produce this memorial project which will be on display at Low Parks Museum!

Sunday the 11th of November is the centenary of the signing of the Armistice. As part of our special events to mark this important anniversary, local artist Allison Smith, whose grandfather served with The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) during in the First World War, has collaborated with primary and secondary schools across South Lanarkshire to produce this temporary display at Low Parks Museum.
You can view the final work between the 6th to the 18th of November.
This project complements our new exhibition, The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) in the First World War on display at Low Parks Museum from 6th to 18th of November and a special ticketed evening event of talks on Tuesday 6th of November with guest speakers Campbell Thomson from the Lanarkshire Yeomanry Memorial Group and David McNay from The Scottish Military Research Group.
