If you've ever wondered why TV, the newspapers and your HR department keep on going on about mindfulness, yoga and meditation but have no idea why or how it affects you this is the class for you. During this short class with Stephen you shall learn the importance of being present in the moment, build a foundation of beginner level postures, breathing techniques that support meditation and simple tools to still your mind and find peace. The last Sunday of every month will include a special Yoga Nidra (a guided yogic sleep which is not to be missed!)
Bring the benefits of yoga to your everyday life irrespective of how fit you are or if you can touch your toes or not. This is a perfect class for those new to yoga and even a seasoned yogi will enjoy this practice based on foundation yoga within a very special space at Prana Yoga studio, Hamilton.
Stephen, teaching under the name ‘The Still Beneath’, is a 200hr RYT and graduate of the Seasonal Yoga TT program. His teaching style is about creating awareness of the range of movement available to his students within a safe, relaxing and inclusive environment.
