It will also help inform how mental health recovery can be made real and stigma and discrimination challenged across Lanarkshire in the future.
The event is for people with lived experience as well as those who support them in either a personal or professional capacity. It is an opportunity for people to share their own experiences and learn from others.
Most of the day will take the form of a conversation café that will allow participants an opportunity to talk to each other about what they do to keep well mentally and what helps them in their recovery.
It will also be a chance to learn more about some of the work that is happening across Lanarkshire.
The event is being organised by the members and supporters of Lanarkshire Recovery Network and Stigma Free Lanarkshire. It is being supported by the Scottish Recovery Network (SRN) and See Me.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Recovery Lanarkshire are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
