The People’s Passion

About The People’s Passion

A wonderful hybrid of theatre and worship, depicting the final week of Jesus' life. Service lasts about an hour and entrance is free. We are not spectators; we are part of the story. Be part of it!

Our company, led by a professional actor in the role of Jesus (Nicholas Elliott) will transport you to first century Jerusalem, to experience the celebration of Palm Sunday, the pain of the crucifixion and, ultimately, the gift of the resurrection.

Passion Plays are dramatic portrayals of the final week of Jesus' earthly life which take us a stage beyond reading the bible. Our understanding is deepened and our emotional journey heightened.

This event is suitable for anyone with an interest in the Easter story, whether you are a regular churchgoer or not. For those very familiar with the story, it will bring something new to your experience. For those less familiar, this will be a memorable introduction to the most dramatic story ever told.
