I am positive and encouraging in my approach and spend much of my time instilling self-belief, enthusiasm and confidence in those youngsters with whom I work.

I thoroughly enjoy working with pupils one-to-one, and I am able to tailor the sessions to meet their own individual needs. I also run small groups online for those wishing peer support.
I am very experienced in working with young people with additional support needs, particularly with ASD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD, PDA and anxiety disorders. I treat all my pupils with respect and care, allowing each to reach their potential and thus gain in confidence.

I will also help with exam and study techniques, along with particular emphasis on past paper practise. Numerous recordings covering all problem solving, extended response and exam/study techniques are available to purchase direct from my website.

I am able to cover the following qualifications and year groups: BGE Science Biology (1st & 2nd Year), National 4 & 5 (3rd, 4th and 5th Year), Higher (5th, 6th Year, and College), Human Higher (5th, 6th Year and College)and Advanced Higher (6th Year). I work with HLP pupils with an interest in the natural world.

I am the only SOI Cognitive Learning Specialist in Scotland and can assess any young person finding school tricky, based on 90 cognitive skills essential for education and beyond. After producing a thorough and comprehensive report, a bespoke, personalised 80 hour programme will be designed to improve any skills that are a challenge, allowing every child to reach their potential!
