Stonehouse Gala Day has over 65 years of history within the village and is held on the first Saturday in June. It is an annual celebratory event that brings together the local school children, various local organisations and groups for mutual enjoyment in the community.
A parade including fancy dress walking pageants, decorated floats, local dance schools and our Primary School Gala Court passes through the village and leads the community to the Alexander Hamilton Memorial Park, where the Crowning Ceremony of the Gala Queen takes place. Afterwards, there are various children’s rides, attractions & events in the park for the community to enjoy.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
