EK, East Kilbride will be sparkling this festive season as Santa, elves, glittering decorations and a winter wonderland grotto combine to create a cracking Christmas atmosphere across the town centre.
The festive lights will illuminate the malls in November in preparation for the grand arrival of Santa and his elves on Saturday 2nd December.
The great man will be joined by his hard-working helpers and a host of festive friends at 10am for a parade from The Hub to his FREE grotto in Centre West, where he will welcome the town’s good boys and girls from 11am.
Santa will then visit the town centre every weekend in December (10am to 4pm on Saturdays, 11am to 4pm on Sundays) and in the run up to the big day from 22nd to 24th (10am to 4pm). No booking is required, and every child will be given a magical Christmas gift when they leave.
The centre will be supporting Kilbryde Hospice throughout the festive season and any visitors who would like to donate can do so at the grotto entrance.
If you’re feeling those winter blues, then keep a lookout for a host of other fun festive attractions. Our full-size sparkling snow globe is a must visit for kids and adults alike. Situated outside Santa’s grotto, the globe will be open for festive selfies from 9am to 6pm every weekend leading up to the big day, plus Friday 22nd. All proceeds from the entry fee will go directly to Kilbryde Hospice.
And if you fancy an early pressie then watch out for our fantastic festive Facebook competition where you could win a sackful of cracking Christmas goodies during December.
