About Leadhills Miners Library
The library was founded in 1741 and is the oldest subscription library in Europe and the world's first library set up for the working man. It is now a museum of literature and village life.
Open from the first weekend of May to the last weekend of September, Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 5pm.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
