Collaborative Artwork
Come along on 9th August at 11am and help us create a wonderful collaborative art exhibition. You will be creating unique artwork by exploring the themes of David’s childhood, exploring Central Africa, special artifacts/objects from the museum. Your stunning artwork will be displayed at the museum. We will be using colourful collage, markers, tissue paper, to express ourselves and to create artwork inspired by the objects from the museum collection. No Experience required, all welcome. Our lovely tour guides will take you into the museum, you will have storytelling session and explain to you about various items in the collection for you to be inspired to create something your very own artwork for our living legacy to David Livingstone.

Science, Creative Museum Collection and Livingstone
Join us for science-based creative session, focussing on the local environment, with families and children, Get inspired by our museum collection and story, encouraging families, young people to learn about their local environment through science, creativity art and Culture
The Power of Poetry
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at poetry? We have just the opportunity. Be inspired by the beauty of nature around you in the parklands and the amazing collection in the museum and who knows you might find yourself ready to put pen to paper with our creative writing expert Reyhaneh
Classic School Sports Day
Join us in the main meadow for a day of classic school sports day activities, we will be hosting various games such as: Team Relay races, egg and spoon race, sack race and many more. We will round off our day with a mass game of rounders and a tug of war.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
