The Ayrshire Lads are back by popular demand! The true story of 5 ordinary lads who shot to fame on Britain’s’ Biggest TV talent shows and all lived within a 12 mile radius of each other, without ever meeting.
The Ayrshire Lads – Jai McDowall (BGT Winner), The MacDonald Brothers (4th place – X Factor), Jeremy Levif (Semi finalist – The Voice 2021), Blair Gilmour (Semi finalist – the Voice Kids 2020) all performed in front of tens of millions of people every Saturday night and between them as individual acts they have performed with Sir Tom Jones, Will I am, Rod Stewart, Paloma Faith, had songs written for them by Elton John & The Script , and toured with West Life and Josh Groban and all have this unique connection, that they are all from the same small corner of Scotland, Ayrshire. In this unique show we celebrate their talent and enjoy their awesome vocals and musicianship.
We celebrate their national television success and go back down memory lane with footage from the start of the TV talent journey, to being independent artists in the music business today! The Lads perform some stunning musical numbers individually and collectively and we hear some real truths about how these huge TV shows, we invited into our homes for so many years, actually work. The show is all linked together by Comedian & BBC Scotland Presenter Des Clarke! Plus we have the added bonus of comedy from our special guest Irvine comedian – Billy Kirkwood!
The Ayrshire Lads story isn’t just something to celebrate for the people of Ayrshire it’s something for the whole of Scotland to celebrate and be proud of! We truly believe that nowhere else in the world within such a small radius has such talent been discovered and had the quick rise to fame and success in these TV competitions as The Ayrshire Lads.
This will be a very special night of entertainment, so come and join the lads and together we can celebrate their success.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
