Come along to a free walk for families and adults of all levels of knowledge and experience about our local environment. Looking at the ecology of Drumpellier Country Park, Hogganfield Park and the wider Seven Lochs area RSPB’s Giving Nature a Home team are leading these wildlife walks to show you some of the amazing nature on your doorstep and hear your views on it.
Participants should meet at the car park of either Drumpellier Country Park or Hogganfield Park for one of the 90-minute walks at 1pm or 3pm. We’ll head round the loch and see some of the specialist habitats for wildlife and consider what lives there, why, and how they interact. This group will be lead at a mixed level, depending on interest and experience, so there will be something for everyone. Come along if you know a lot or are just starting out on your wildlife journey.
The walk will stick close to the paved path and will do our best to meet any additional requests which could improve the accessibility of this walk.
Spaces are limited so you can book by emailing the RSPB Giving Nature a Home Team in Glasgow team directly at GNAHG@rspb.org.uk and telling us the walk, location and time you would like to attend. You can also register and learn more through the link below:
