Slow flow yoga offers a unique experience, combining the flowing movements of a traditional yoga class, with some short pauses' yin-style. This class is ideal for beginners or for those who want to reduce their stress levels.
Incorporating a specifically designed yoga flow sequence, this class will explore the importance of breathing (pranayama,) meditation and relaxation - all of which are supported by the physical postures. We will focus on postures which embrace the water element and the winter season - these focus on encouraging the movement of energy (or chi) throughout the body. The use of props will be encouraged throughout and options for poses will be provided to suit all ability levels.
This class is ideal for beginners to yoga or those who would like to take things a bit slower.
