We are looking for volunteers to take on one-to-one befriender/group befriender roles. roles. As a befriender, you will plan activities for your young person, such as cinema trips and outings to local attractions and games, or assisting with activities and being a welcoming face at groups. Your help will offer them opportunities to grow in confidence and improve their well-being.
In return, you will be fully supported by our dedicated staff, reimbursed for any expenses relating to your voluntary role and, of course, have the opportunity to make a positive difference to the life of a young person.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
