Adelphi is Scotland's most acclaimed bottler of rare single cask and limited edition single malt whisky, fusion whisky and spirits. The cornerstone of Adelphi bottlings is, quite simply, quality. In 2014 they opened their own distillery in Ardnamurchan to begin the process of producing what has already become world-class single malts.
Nestled in the ruggedly beautiful coastline of Scotland's west highlands, the Ardnamurchan distillery stands as a testament to innovation and tradition. It embodies the spirit of its namesake peninsula, renowned for its wild landscapes and untamed character.
Ardnamurchan's commitment to quality is obvious in every drop of the spirit they make and mature on the peninsula. From traditional double distillation to blockchain technology, they embrace heritage, innovation and sustainable practises throughout the whisky making process.
They have developed an award-winning range of single malt whiskies from spirit maturing in their warehouses. To give the blending team the flexiblity required to create their whiskies, they produce both peated and unpeated malt spirit.
They use a traditional mix of American and European oak, ex-sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon casks to mature the biggest share of their whisky, but they also enjoy having fun with other types of oak casks that have previously held anything from white wine to Mezcal, Sauternes to Madeira.
