In January 2022, young geographer Kirsty set sail from Antigua on board a 72ft sailing yacht bound for a circumnavigation of the world. From her adventures around some of the most remote areas of the globe, she shares her observations of the interconnectedness of humans in a vast world, the changing tide for women in sailing and, in a world of fast paced living and travel, the importance of enjoying the journey along the way. Through microplastic sampling, she explores our far-reaching human impacts and a heightened respect for the sea.
