Join North Lanarkshire Council's Arts Development Team for the launch of their 'Seen and Heard' Piano Project, enhancing community engagement and mental wellbeing through music and art!
About Seen and Heard - The Launch of Bellshill’s New Public Piano
Unveiling a beautifully painted piano transformed by local artist, Connor Halligan, the event features live performances before the piano is handed over to the public.
This project brings a newly designed piano to Bellshill Cultural Centre where it can be used by the public and serve as a vibrant symbol of North Lanarkshire’s rich cultural and artistic identity.
The launch event will feature live performances by local and national world-class musicians, showcasing the piano’s role in fostering self-expression and providing a therapeutic escape. There's even an open piano session afterwards - just like an open mic, except with a piano, so come along and have a tinkle!
In collaboration with the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival.
