Set in Coatbridge in the 1980s, The Tar Factory tells of one Tar Squad and their leader, Mad Dog, as they scam their way through each day, working for booze money.
Based on the book of the same name, by Alan Kelly, the play with original music and a cast of 14, is written by Michael Keenan of Shotts and performed by Sweet for Addicts Theatre Company whichs work specifically with Professional and Non-Professional actors
The patter of a working class road gang is funny, at time crass, and with strong language, but always honest and authentic.
This is a play that is not to be missed!
