Blue Deal have been including Scotland in their tour schedule for years and have become firm favourites with their powerful mix of Blues and Rock, excellent song writing, tight harmonies and virtuosic playing.
We're very lucky to have them back in Biggar, on what is a short run of Scottish dates, before they begin a busy 2025 schedule across Europe.
This is not a gig you want to miss and tickets will be very limited!
Their debut album "Holy Ground" from 2022 received excellent reviews from the international and national trade press. This was the starting signal for Blue Deal's success story to date.
This was followed by winning the "German Blues Challenge" in 2023.
In January 2024, the band reached the semi-finals of the "International Blues Challenge" in Memphis (USA).
In May 2024, the second studio album "Can't Kill Me Twice" was released on the renowned blues label "Dixiefrog" and also received excellent reviews. Winning the "German Blues Award" - Best Album 2024 is the highlight so far.
Fresh, powerful and experienced: Tom Vela is currently one of the best guitarists of the 'New Blues Generation' in Germany. The synergy with Jürgen Schneckenburger, Willi Macht and old master Joe Fischer (former Cadillac Blues Band) makes Blue Deal an innovative cross-generational project.
From Roots Blues to pure Rock - everything in between - and beyond. Much to the delight of fans and the international trade press:
"Pulsating grooves, strong guitar parts and the extremely versatile, raw voice" result in "...well-written songs from a creative, up-and-coming band..." (Blues Matters!, N° 129, Dec/Jan 2023) Blue Deal's full range can only be felt and experienced after attending a concert - this is the unanimous opinion. The songs tell stories from life and also take a critical stance on current issues.
On the basis of five Scottish tours by now, the formation proves that blues rock "Made in Germany" can be authentic and internationally successful.
