The centre has been working with environmental specialists, Zoolab, to create two days of fascinating wildlife workshops on 8th and 9th April, complete with creepy crawlies, snakes, tarantulas, and other exotic creatures.
To add to the fun, EK kids can get creative with a series of Arts & Crafts workshops on Monday 7th, Thursday 10th and Friday 11th April, including spring flower making, ceramic painting and Easter crafts.
Commenting on the Easter fun, centre manager, Alan Smillie, said: “Finding things to entertain the kids during the Easter holidays isn’t always easy, so we have arranged some fantastic free activities to keep them busy. Our crazy critters will enthral old and young alike, while creative kids will love the art and crafts on offer. And best of all they’ll be able to take everything they make home.”
Phillip Burnett at Zoolab, added, ”We can’t wait to tell everyone about these fascinating creatures and why spring is such an important time in the animal world. Attendees will have the chance to get up close to snakes, tarantulas, cockroaches, giant snails and more. It’s sure to be an unforgettable experience.”
All of EK’s holiday events are free and no booking is required.
