Colzium House
Colzium House is one of the jewels in North Lanarkshire's crown. Originally built in 1783, it's a distinct architectural mix of Scottish Vernacular and the more modern Renaissance styles.
About Colzium House
Mackay Lennox bought Colzium House in 1930. When he retired from his role as Town Clerk he presented the House and Policies to Kilsyth Burgh, now part of North Lanarkshire, in memory of his mother. The House has been reconditioned and now offers a suite of rooms suitable for functions of all kinds and a small museum of local history.
Colzium House It's a superb venue for special occasions. Situated in the idyllic Colzium Lennox Estate, Colzium House is the perfect place, for example, for an intimate wedding. Guests have the house to themselves, and can hold their wedding in the downstairs rooms and have photographs taken in the gardens before retiring to the first floor banqueting suite for the reception. The small downstairs room can be used as a private place for the bride and as storage for any presents received on the day.
The house is also a great place for business events like seminars and conferences, and for interviewing job candidates or prospective clients - it'll certainly make a positive lasting impression.
Viewings of this facility are available every Monday evening between 5pm and 7pm (excluding public holidays).
