Situated in the beautiful heart of the old village of East Kilbride, within walking distance of train and bus connections, and in close proximity to a number of outstanding quality restaurants and bars, the Village Theatre is a perfect place to enjoy an evening's entertainment.
It also provides a much needed and sought after venue for many local amateur companies, and is the home for East Kilbride Light Opera, Gilbert & Sullivan and Repertory Theatre Clubs amongst others.
East Kilbride's own Youth Theatre group have also been using the Theatre for the last 19 years, meeting every Saturday during term time, and performing annually on stage. Suitable for 8 - 18 years we are always looking for more talented youngsters with a passion for drama and the arts.
Disabled access
There are two disabled parking bays in the car park at the rear of the theatre. Access to the upper floor is via lift.
Advance notice for wheelchair bookings for performances is recommended. Induction loop hearing facilities are available.
Toilets for the disabled are provided.
