SELECT (Supporting Employment and Learning by Empowering Communities in Technology) is an exciting digital inclusion project, supporting members of local communities in South Lanarkshire to use the Internet as a tool to increase employability and financial capability as well as increase access to online-only opportunities.
Funded by Scottish Government's People and Communities Fund and South Lanarkshire Council's Tackling Poverty Fund, the SELECT Project has grown quickly and is available completely FREE on a drop-in basis.
SELECT (Supporting Employment and Learning by Empowering Communities in Technology) is a volunteer based, peer mentoring ICT skills development service which will provide residents in South Lanarkshire the necessary ICT skills in job search, financial/welfare services, goods and services and personal learning and development.
By using SELECT, you will have access to:
- FREE Internet access for job search
- Confidential one-to-one support
- Improve your IT skills
- Help with job applications or creating a CV
- Find the right opportunities for YOU

Sessions take place in the following locations:
TACT Hall, Blantyre - Mondays 10am to 2pm
Hillhouse & Earnock Community Centre - Tuesdays & Thursdays 10am to 4pm
Clydeview Shopping Centre, Blantyre - Thursdays 10am to 2pm
