Yoga by Gillian offers welcoming, accessible, fun and friendly yoga classes across Lanarkshire. Whether you are new to the practice or are a more seasoned practitioner looking to try a different style of yoga – you are all welcome.
Yoga by Gillian specialises in yoga for mental wellbeing and to support restful sleep. Classes offer a variety of options to suit different abilities and always end with a guided relaxation to help unwind and switch off.
Mindful Monday - Beginners Class
Mondays 7pm-8pm Jim Foley Community Centre, Craigneuk
In this gentle class we begin with a breathing exercise to calm the mind and body, before moving onto working through a series of standing and seated yoga postures, with options available to suit all ability levels. Finally, the class ends with a guided relaxation, leaving you feeling relaxed and restored.
Yin Yoga
Thursdays 7pm-8pm Burnhead Community Centre, Viewpark
Yin yoga is a slow and gentle form of yoga, which works on unfolding and releasing tension from deep within the body. Using the breath to hold focus, we try to cultivate qualities of patience, softness, effort and dedication.
This class is suitable for all levels of yogis and is the ideal antidote to a busy working week.

6.30pm-8.30pm Source Events, Bellshill
This deeply nourishing 90-minute class is the perfect Friday Night In. Each class offers a different theme all aimed at deep restorative relaxation. The class ends with some home baking, tea and a chat, the perfect way to switch off as you head into your weekend.
