Pride South Lanarkshire returns for 2024
Lanarkshire Pride proudly announces the return of Pride South Lanarkshire on the 26th & 27th July 2024 in Hamilton town centre!

The events aim to bring together and empower the LGBTQ+ community providing a platform and voice within the local area.
The events will include the popular Drag at The Townhouse and Drag Bingo Bonanza fundraisers on the Friday at Hamilton’s A listed Townhouse theatre, hosted by the wonderful Cheri Treiffel ahead of our main event on the Saturday.
Pride South Lanarkshire will see the return of the Pride festival stage, bursting with incredible performances and inspiring speakers on Saturday the 27th July from 11am to 5pm on Hamilton’s Quarry Street. In a first for the area, Saturday’s event plans include a vibrant, joyous and inclusive Pride march through Hamiton Town centre in celebration and protest.
Malcolm Thomas-Harley Director of Lanarkshire Pride said: “Last year’s inaugural events were a huge success in providing a platform for our LGBTQ+ community in an area where there are not many outlets and supporting organisations for LGBTQ+ people. Our aims are to continue to make our voices heard, to challenge intolerance and to bring our community together in celebration and pride.
