Lanark Amateur Musical Society raise a thousand pounds for their 2024 charity partner
Lanark Amateur Musical Society (LAMS) have raised £1000 for Cancer Research UK as part of their 2024 charity partnership.

Melissa Reilly, LAMS President said: “Last year we very sadly lost our Director, mentor and friend David Dickman, after a battle with cancer. In David’s memory, we selected Cancer Research UK as our charity partner for our 2024 production of The Wedding Singer.”
“We’re very proud to be supporting Cancer Research UK in raising awareness of the important work they do across the country. Through fundraising activities this year and collections at our performances, we have raised £1000 in partnership with the Lanark Cancer Research Committee”.
Lanark Amateur Musical Society’s next production is Sunshine on Leith, taking place in Lanark Memorial Hall in March 2025. Anyone wishing to find out more about joining the club is encouraged to get in touch via email or Facebook message:
